American Sailing Association St. Petersburg, FL – Courses and Boats
All of our instruction is done aboard our boats. For the ASA 101 Class we are currently using our 30.6 foot Hunter sloop. This gives a nice, steady platform for learning how to sail. Inexperienced sailors enjoy this 30 ft. Hunter because it does not heel over as far as some smaller boats.
The ASA 103 class is given either on our Hunter 30.6 or one of our Hunter 36 sloops, based on availability. ASA 104, introduction to coastal cruising, is taught on our Hunter 36.
